CHILDREN’S BIBLES - - Calling all boys and girls ages 2-3 and grades 2-3! If your child didn’t receive a Bible when he/she was 2 or in 2nd grade, you didn’t receive a letter this week, or you are new to our congregation please call Leslie at the church office 846-1555 so we can add your child’s name to the list.

GROW KICKOFF PITCH-IN - - Hard to believe we’re already talking about back-to-school. With that comes back-to-Gloryland! Plan to join us for a kickoff pitchin, Sunday Aug 15 from 11:00-1:00. At 11:00 we’ll hear from KOGers (youth & adults) who served on Mission Trips this summer followed by food & fun. Sign up today!

SHARING PLACE SHELVES NEARLY EMPTY- - If at all possible, please fill a grocery bag with any of the following items: Peanut Butter, Mac & Cheese, Tuna, Canned Pasta, Canned Fruit, Soup or any other non-perishable items and leave it at the small bulletin board across from the nursery. Thank you!!!

GAD-A-BOUTS - - “Take us out to the ball game - - We will have a good time” – okay, so much for the song. But, we WILL have a good time at Victory Field on Friday, August 27. We are inviting anyone who would like to go with us to see the Indians “beat” the Toledo Mud Hens. The game starts at 7:15 p.m. with tremendous fireworks following. Cost $12 per ticket. Our seats are between 3rd base and home plate so we are in the shade all evening. If you are interested, call Judy, 846-2112 or Doris, 849-2915.

THRIVENT “CHOICE DOLLARS” - - Thrivent members may be eligible to participate in Thrivent Choice, a charitable grant program. Your “Choice Dollars” create an undesignated fund.
