Tetelestai is coming to King of Glory for two performances Saturday, March 20 at 7:30 pm & Sunday, March 21 at 3 pm. Tetelestai is Greek for “It is finished” - ”Paid in full” which were Jesus’ final words on the cross.
High school students from Upper Arlington Lutheran Church in Ohio will be presenting an original contemporary rock musical depicting the Passion Week from Palm Sunday through the Resurrection. It has been so well received that the church has been presenting this musical for over 35 years.
Tetelestai is recommended for ages 8 and older. Parental discretion is advised for children younger than 8 due to length of performance, loudness and depiction of violence. Children will be invited forward prior to the beginning of the play to learn the “tricks” of nails, blood, etc.
